Dong-kook seems to roll out its generic version of Renexin as the Korea Intellectual Property Tribunal sided with Dong-kook, invalidating SK Chemicals’s patent on Renexin

SK Chemicals won its Renexin patent case back in January, 2012. But it is losing its ground recently. Hwanin and Prime, who won the Renexin patent case in November, 2012, are working to dismiss the preliminary injunction.

Hwainin and Dong-gook expect to market their generic versions of Rinexin immediately after they lift the preliminary injunction.

Currently four manufacturers got marketing approval for their generic versions of Renexin. Seven more companies may retry to enter the market, depending on the latest decision from the court.
