The Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) plans to issue certifications for regulatory affairs (RA) for those who finish the required courses designed by the MOHW.

An official of MOHW said Tuesday, “The curriculum has been decided and we are working to finish it up.”

The MOHW asked Lee Jae Hyun, Professor, Sungkyunkwan University, to design the curriculum for RA certification early this year.

The MOHW plans to select one organization for the RA certification course and issue RA certifications next year.

It is expected over 300 people, including pharmacy school students and pharmaceutical company employees, will finish the new RA certification course for the first year.
